Fun with friends

susandennisThe Kiwis arrived at my door a little ahead of schedule but I was ready. It was good to see them. It's been six years since they were here. I've known Scott for about 15 years. He met and married Julie about 8 years ago. They are fun and very comfortable to be around. They have been in San Francisco for the first time for a week.
I gave them my list of dinner options...
Walk to ID for chinese. or drive to:
French bistro
Mexican
Conveyor belt sushi
Fondu
Diner
Small plate place
There was some discussion and they settle on diner which isn't really a diner but does have a wide variety of 'American' food. So that's where we went. Endolyne Joe's. It's been on my list of places to try forever. It's not terribly convenient to get to but that didn't matter tonight.
It turned out to be perfect. We split some amazing friend zucchini slices and onion rings and then each had fried chicken and biscuits and I bought home some nice leftovers.
We're heading out tomorrow down to Renton and surrounds. Should be fun.
My gout is nearly gone already! Whew. This morning I thought for sure I'd be in crippling pain for days. When they say better living through chemistry, they are NOT kidding.
