Thank you, Mariners, for a lovely evening

susandennisLast night's Mariner's game was just perfect. We had amazing seats nearly free of annoying people. The park was about half full which was a nice crowd. Big enough to not feel abandoned and nothing was too crowded. We had hot dogs, hot roasted peanuts and the Kiwis shared chocolate covered strawberries.
They really enjoyed the show. The Mariners Moose was a big hit. The show on the screen in between innings was good. We were close enough to be fodder for foul balls and flying bats so we stayed alert and that was even fun.
And, the game was great! The Mariners won 6-0 and the 6 was spread out so that there was lots of good action to watch. Scott is a student of games. When he was here 15 years ago, he really paid attention and he remembered it all, including player names that I'd even forgotten. Julie had never seen any kind of baseball and was fascinated and asked good questions all night long. It was just fun.
The weather was also perfect. Not too hot. Not too cold. A clear night that was not even fully dark by game's end about 10 pm.
Today is more shopping and sight seeing. We will kick off the festivities with a stop at Krispy Kreme after I pick them up just before 10.
