So, I'm crusing through the blogs I normally keep up with when I hit on my buddy Jim's. Yikes! His font is now gnat sized! Totally unreadable!

Then I realized I was using the new Firefox browser. I plugged his URL into IE and bamo... Readable. I hate this. I like the tabs in Firefox - it keeps me organized and I like some of the other features, but I sure don't like that it's fucking with my friends styles.

Then I made the mistake of plugging in the URL to my own website. ICK! Some of it looks ok. Some of it looks like Jim's gnat site.

I put that page up first in 1994 when Netscape was on version 1 and it was the only graphical game in town. I swear to you there is some 1994 code still in that page. Along with a Hodge podge of other crap. It's a mess. I just went in and fixed it so that it doesn't suck in Firefox (which, for some reason, I keep typing Foxfire) and did the same to the About Me page but the rest I'm even afraid to look at.

Why can't we all get along browser-wise speaking??!!!

I just increase the text size...I don't understand why the default is sooo tiny, but what pisses me off more is that the google toolbar plugin does not work!

An aside: I so cannot believe Ken...he's just cruising right along!

My Firefox is again choking on LJ. I don't know what the problem is.

Oh that's not good. I just installed it on my little mini computer and it's actually doing just fine on LJ whew... I did go to your LJ and to your friends page (assuming that's where you were getting the problem and it waw fine)... so it must be you aren't smiling at the right times or something....

Must be. I've got to find something that works. At first I thought it was the scrollbars on the right side of the entries. Maybe I just need to download a patch or something.

There's definitely been something going on today. I use Mozilla, and for about an hour earlier I couldn't even get to the www.mozilla.com website.

I had no trouble with other sites, but Mozilla seemed sluggish and just not quite right.

You could try the Avant browser, that has tabs and you can make a new one by double clicking the tab bar. You can tell it to point its built in search functionality to google.com (always one of my first setting changes). It blocks most bad stuff too. Right click on an advert and you can consign the entire web site to the blacklist. I use that and Firefox, just depends which one I click.

The sad, ironic thing is I just increased the font size from gnat to fruit fly. (And I swear, when I do this, I preview it in IE and Firefox.)
