susandennisMy new Keurig arrived today. It's a replacement because my old one broke. This one works fine - so far. Gotta love a warranty.
My brother shared a very cool story about a customer service interaction with HP today.
Keurig, indeed, make it not my problem but not nearly as nicely and painlessly. Maybe HP will start making K-cup coffee makers.

seattlejo last night. We ate at the Skillet Diner and it was delicious. There are still about 987 things on the menu I have not tried yet and want to. The only problem is that their portions are just way too big. They are ready and willing and happy to box up what you can't eat. I just have to remember to stop in time to garner some good leftovers. I will.
We had such a good visit. I enjoyed it enormously. I'm such a loner that I forget how much fun an evening of idle chatter can really be.
seattlejo made me order dessert and I did bring half of that home. I'm looking forward to enjoying it tonight.

Work was good today. A nice full day.

I lost a shit load of money yesterday. A giant pile o' doh. But today I lost not nearly so much. I have my nest egg distributed around a lot of different kinds of pots so while I generally lose money when the market is down enough to make the evening news, I generally do not lose as much as everyone else. Such is the case this week. I watch it every day. At market close, I check Mint and my net worth number for the day and slap it into a spreadsheet. So I can watch my fortunes go up and down pretty easily.
But I don't worry about it. I have a wonderful financial adviser and that frees me up to watch and not worry. So I do.

Tonight is baseball and knitting.
Tomorrow is a movie withmachupicchu. And maybe bag shopping and maybe sushi eating and maybe other stuff. We shall see.
I have no other big plans for the weekend, except keeping cool which is my first priority!
