"West Nile virus found in Yakima County mosquito"
Immediately, in my head, I went to the video... bustling ER with mosquitoes staggering in... Dr. Mosquito standing next to reporter who's having to crouch down for the interview...
I've actually never been to Yakima County so as far as I know, it could happen... Or maybe, just maybe, I've watched too much local TV news.

Work is good today. I like the part of the project where we fix things. It's just nice to make a tweak that changes a page instantly from wrong to right.
My plan is to put in a couple of more hours and then call it a week.

I have Project Runway to watch and there's a Mariner game tonight and I put a note in Ann's door this morning letting her know that if she wanted to go out to dinner tonight I'm avail. I suspect she's going to spend some, if not a lot, of the day at the hospital today. So if she wants a change of pace, I'm glad to be avail and if she doesn't, I have Chef Anita goodness for me here - win win.

As soon as the sun moves off the terrace, I'm going to fold up the ottoman and roll it downstairs to the garage. There's an area down there where people leave stuff they don't want that someone else might. It could get horrible out of hand but never really does. We call it the 'free store'. If not one picks up the ottoman by Sunday, I'll take it over to the Goodwill.
But at least I'll have it out of the house today. There is just no room in this place for stuff I don't want and need. Really.

Ok, lunch is over (a quite delicious chicken salad made by moi, thankyouverymuch, with a side of cottage cheese and some chips) and it's back to work for me.
