Parking... and the beat goes on

susandennisNow I know why Larry wanted to trade parking spaces. His mustang convertible is too long. Now that I've had a chance to get in and out of the spot several times, I understand. I thought, after the first couple of times that I had fucked up by trading.
But, I just went out to mail a package (and get a chocolate milk shake - yum) and when I got back, I got into the space the first shot. (Instead of having to back/forward/twist/back/forward, etc.) So I think it will be fine.
It would be just a perfect spot for a Smart Car and I so want one. I'd love to go take a test drive and really ask about one at the dealership but I'm afraid that I'd walk out with one.
But...
I drive barely enough miles to justify buying gas, much less a new car.
My current car runs fine and is dinged up so new dings don't matter.
A Smart Car would have been worthless this weekend with me and two passengers.

fj's fault. A long time ago he had a user pic of a green one and it was total love at first sight. They were not available here until years later so it was a controllable desire but now I see them everywhere and they are soooo soooo cute. Really.
