She's so cute!!

susandennisBetty's home and happy to be here. I let her out and then did a couple of other things around the house including doing some work work. When I went back to the front hall to get the cat carrier to put it away, Travis was inside of it! 'My turn!!' What a goof ball. I'll bet Betty won't ever get in there willingly again but here was Travis refusing to get out.
She's somewhere resting. She came out to the living room once but Travis would not leave her alone and got hissed mightily for his efforts. She came out again to grab a bite and he left her alone. Maybe next time she'll come see me for her closeup. She will at 5 for dinner, I'm sure.
She is sooo tiny. And so long. She's the daschound of cats. I've always known she was all hair but wow. She looks like a tiny lean, mean cat machine instead of a her usual delicate feather boa personae.

When I got my airbed, I got one that came with a pump. It's not a built in pump but a separate one that has inflate and deflate nozzles. I've always wanted to get those storage bags that you put pillows in and suck the air out but I never had an air sucker outer. Now I do. Amazon delivered and now 4 pillows, 2 blankets and a large bath sheet are taking up the space formerly filled by 2 of those pillows. Score.

Next on the project list is the taming of the external harddrive farm. I have 6 external hard drives connected to my desk top machines. Each has an A/C adapter. They are varying sizes and hold a lot of data I do not now nor will I ever need. I bought two 1T portable drives that fit in my hand and need nothing but a USB port.
The Goodwill is going to be so happy and the rats nest of cables under my desk are going the way of the dodo bird.

And, of course, new car news. I talked to my financial adviser who, in addition to taking care of my finances is a car guy. I figured I could count on him to talk me out of it. Wrong. He thinks my getting one is a fine idea. He said I might want to look at used ones to save some money. I think I'm going to go look at new ones first. And I think the Scion is losing it's initial appeal. Come Saturday I may just pop on down to the Smart Car dealer and sniff around.
