Yet More Car talk...
Aug. 26th, 2011 03:36 pmTurns out there is no seat belt adjuster thingie. But Amazon is sending me a nice one. It will be here probably next week. Until then, I can just tie a not and it solves the neck strangulation.
Years ago my Mom had a LeCar. Until today, I'd forgotten one of the greatest things about that little car. The truck was waist level. Getting stuff in and out was easy peasy. The Smart car has the same awesome feature. I love it.
Earlier today
faecat told me she had a trunk organizer that she bought from the dealer and loved. It sounded like a nice - but not critical - idea. I figured I'd ask about one tomorrow when I go back to the dealership.
Then I went out and bought four six packs of Diet Dr. Pepper, a bag of chips and a loaf of bread.
Er, ah, that organizer? If I want whole chips and/or uncrushed bread, it just moved up the chain from nice to critical!!!
Oh and I found two more places to stash stuff. It's now official. I have more places for stuff in this car than I have stuff. Note to self: this does not mean you need to buy more stuff.
Ok, I am in for the night. Tomato sandwich for dinner with chips. Baseball game on TV. Bear to knit. All is good.
And as
faecat's father discovered, there is no way - no way in hell - you can ever lock your keys in the car. No way. Not that I have ever done that more than once or twice.
