Swim report

susandennisToday's class was Aqua Jog. I took an Aqua Jog class last week at another pool with another teacher. But this time it was at my pool and the teacher was way different. I cannot for the life of me remember his name. It started with M and he was a giant (at least he looked giant from the pool as he stood along side of it) b e a u t i f u l black man. I mean he was eye candy with a capital eye.
But, I soon learned that his goal was to give us no time to look. He worked us to death. "First of all, you need to know that I am big on posture. I'm going to ride you about your posture the whole class, so pay attention." And that was the easy part.
There was precious little chatting in this class. We did not have time or energy! It was great. Also, it turned out to be a 45 minute class instead of an hour and, honestly, I was thrilled - I'm not sure I had another 15 minutes in me!
The other members of the class (probably 15 or so) were all white and middle aged. There was one woman my age and the rest were younger. Interesting that yesterday's class was all black and today's was all white. Wonder what that deal is?
Anyway, M said he would be the regular instructor for this class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Yeah!
It's also in the deep end which is way better for me than the shallow end of yesterday's class. My knees hurt after that class. Not today. I'm going to have to find something else for Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
I also got to the library and the grocery store and the cash machine and now I have work to do.
