Cat hair and other ramblings

Betty, still very much shorn but she's on the comeback trail hairwise. Her tail shows what her normal hair looks like. I can hardly remember her that way. So big and fluffy. She's still so tiny now.

Travis is asleep on the bed under the quilt. I went in there a little bit ago to make up the bed. I picked up the quilt to snap it out of it's bunching and there he was under it. So I just snapped it straight right on top of him and he didn't move a muscle. That cat is weird.

I am still so in lust with my aqua jogging/swimming. When I wake up in the morning, I am looking forward to pool time. I'm still futzing with the schedule but I do know on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it's noon. For Mantrell's class.

My next experiment will be doing my own thing to music. I actually found some aqua job music in Amazon's MP3 shop so I'm going to see if I can put together 45-60 minutes of a routine I can remember of good exercises so that on M/W/F - I can have an always available option. The pool opens for laps from 11-2 so I'll have some flexibility in the schedule as well.

That's the plan for now anyway. I'm so glad I found the pool. It makes every day brighter knowing that I don't have to go to the gym. Oh and laundry is way easier, too!

I have a conference call in 10 mins and then a little work but I think most of this afternoon will be free time which will be nice.

Learning my new project is hard work. It always is. There's the general Change is Hard and the specifics of new tools, new people, new deadlines. This first part is always the most frustrating. It will get easier and familiar soon.
