susandennisI'm enjoying my weekend special in bed with laptop, NPR and coffee. I just heard that my NPR station starts its pledge drive on Monday. Ugh. I won't listen to it. I don't object to the point of it, I find the execution insulting and offensive. Ordinarily articulate and pleasant sounding radio people turn into stupid, tongue tied idiots who drivel on and on saying the most insulting and ridiculous things. So I learned years ago to just turn it off. This year I'll probably stream KCRW on my phone in the mornings (they have a nice streaming app that makes it easy).
This morning - in about 20 minutes, I'll head out to the pool. My Saturday morning class is way north of downtown which would ordinarily be a bitch except there is so little traffic before 8 am on Saturdays that it makes it an easy trip.
After swimming, I'm off to the Sprint store - my phone's screen is developing bad burn in and I want to see what they will do about it. Oh and I might stop for breakfast some where and then maybe a little shopping. I need to replace some shirts and pants ... maybe.
There's only one movie I want to see this weekend (50/50 - mainly because it's set in Seattle) but if I don't get to it, no biggie. The idea of hearing Paul's voice out of Seth Rogan's mouth, isn't appealing. :) Maybe I'll go tomorrow. There's a Seahawks home game and it's always nice to clear out when the crazies land.
