susandennisMy housecleaner comes every two weeks. Before she comes, I like to clear off the desk of stuff (she is happy to do it, but if I do it, I know where it is), and put the used kitty litter in the trash (which she will take to the dumpster) and move the drying rack (with my swimsuits and towels) from the tub so she can clean it, etc. Plus, this week I was going to get the air conditioner put away.
Usually I do all or most of this on Wednesday night. I didn't last night - figured what the fuck, this morning will be fine.
She thinks she comes about 9:30. Usually it's closer to 10 and I spend 20 minutes stressing that she won't come at all and I'll have to fire her (she's had issues in the past and is on her last strike).
Today she shows up at 8:20! So I rushed around ahead of her to get it all done. It was fine and I'd WAY rather have her be too early and gone sooner so it's not horrible but now I'm a sweaty mess. But, everything is done and the air conditioner is trained and in it's den for the winter.
Yeah!!
I need to figure out a better wet suit/towel situation than the drying rack. I could just toss them over the shower rod but I don't want to see them so behind the curtain is best but that drying rack is not a good plan. Hello, Amazon? Whatcha got for me?
Oh and the construction in the parking lot started today for real. I, of course, can't see it because of The Tree That I Hate, but I an sure hear it. Good thing it will soon be cold enough to shut the door.
