I'm so ready to be home

susandennisI know that it's only one full day and 2 sleeps until I get sprung but I miss my condo and my cats and my peace and quiet and not having to speak like a megaphone or repeat everything 22 times. Polly is such a saint for dealing with all of it.
We - me and - took her - Polly - to dinner with us today and it was great. She's very good company and a very good audience and I cannot drive the car, let Mom out, walk her in and sit her down, and park the car at the same time. I really can't. Polly does it a lot - I just don't have the skills.
And the skills I do have are sadly lacking. Her PC is just a mess. It is very slow and I'm sure just waiting until I am gone to quit working all together. I hate GoToMyPC so much - I hate the company and their tactics and I am pretty sure that running it on her PC is adding to the degredation of her computer but I tried a couple of alternatives today and either I couldn't get them to work or they were just cludgey. So I'll stick with evil. It is sure easy enough to run, I'll give it that.
Mom tried to call my sister today (who, nicely didn't bother to call Mom) and her number led to a recording that that number had been disconnected. Mom says it has happened before. Come to think of it my brother didn't call either and neither of them even sent an email. What a lovely caring family. bleech.
I want to go home.
Tomorrow is nails at 10. Polly has been taking her but I get the duty tomorrow. And tomorrow I can print out my boarding passes for my trip home. That should make me feel better.
