susandennisI am getting better. Finally I can tell for sure. For several days I have felt better after swimming each day but this morning, I can tell that I am better, for instance than yesterday. Marginally, not radically, but hell on wheels, I'll take what I can get. I was able to calm the one small coughing fit, I had this morning by breathing slowly and shallowly and carefully. Much better than having no control at all. On the amusing side, both cats now leave immediately when they hear the first sign of a coughing fit.
I'm still way short of breath with any out of the pool exertion. I have 3 more days of prednizone. I still have the appointment on Monday afternoon with the doctor and, I suspect that unless I'm totally cured by Monday morning, I'll keep it. I want this totally gone.
And speaking of things I want gone... The leaves on The Tree That I Hate have nearly all turned from their hanging-on-for-dear-life green to a not very interesting yellow and dried brown. One good wind/rain storm could clear most of them out, I hope. The start of the construction on the new project has, apparently, been postponed until January but I'll be ready.
The cat food wars continue. Both cats threw up this morning. More a regurgitation than anything else. The first food I changed them to a month ago was the only dry food that has worked. I give up. Today I am going back to that store and buying it again and this time I am going to write down the exact specs and we're just going to stick to it.
No swimming today so I'll use my swim time to trek over to that pet store.
I dreamed last night that our state governor borrowed my car and hit another car that cracked a panel of my car right off. I have never liked that woman. I was relieved to wake up and realize she didn't do it. The doctor said that the prednizone might give me vivid dreams. I'm not much of a dreamer and this is the only dream I've had since I started taking it.
My work computer is having a difficult morning. It first needed an update and then Explorer froze in a weird way - I've had to reboot several times. It finally seems ready for any work we get today.
I've got zero plans for the weekend other than swimming tomorrow morning. There are no movies I need/want to see so it may just be a quiet weekend of nothing. I can do that. I have a good audio book going and there's bear knitting and tivo is stuffed. Nothing at all to complain about there!
