I'm declaring victory
Nov. 14th, 2011 09:17 amI took the last of the prednizone this morning. I did not do my nightly dose of that godawful codene cough syrup last night and I passed on the inhaler this morning. I feel good. I can breathe even deeply. I'm not coughing. I am well.
But, I am going to keep the appointment with the cute doctor today because I want to make 100% sure, and I want to calibrate my blood pressure thingie and I want to ask about the pneumonia vaccine and a flu shot. So I'll go in and let him tell me I'm cured. Finally.
I'll swim first so by the time I get there I'll be in the best shape possible.
Work promises to be the usual slow for today and tomorrow but Wednesday, I start a new, short term project on top of the current one. Then for 3 and a half weeks, it looks like I'll have plenty to keep me occupied which will be a nice change and a nice chunk of change.

The leaves on the Tree That I Hate are nearly half gone after this weekend's storms. I can see what's happening better than this photo presents. And in a happy coincidence, it looks like construction is starting up on the new project again! They have moved a giant piece of machinery into the middle of the plot. Timing. I haz it.
Nice way to kick on a Monday!
