vixter did call and we had a wonderful visit! With some very excellent Italian food. Yum and fun. And so very interesting to put a live face with an LJ.

Tomorrow, I'll give it another go with cathboblet.

Now, wouldn't it be fun to do one of those visit-all-the-ballpark type tours with your LJ friends list? This said by the woman who rarely leaves her living room unnecessarily (so don't any one get freaked that they will have to put up with me in the flesh) but I'm just saying.

I checked my email on the bus and there was a note from Mom that she had screwed up her Tivo. She said she screwed it up earlier in the week but managed to fix it. Now she did it again. 'And whatever it was I just punched made it say that it would take an hour to do whatever it is it is doing. So we'll have to wait.'

I got off at the library, returned my book, picked up my holds and headed out to walk home. At the first corner with a red light, I checked my Treo for email again. Another note from Mom:

' My Tivo is all fixed. Sometimes I scare myself I am so electronic, just like you. I must run now. (to supper)'

She's just a smile a minute.

It's getting crowded n the 'hood. There is, I'm guessing by the number of boats in the parking lot, a boat show getting started in the Exhibition Center. And I finally figured out last night that the revolving search lights they have going at the front of the parking lot are to 'celebrate' the playoff game tomorrow. However, none of my regular RV/motor home people who usually arrive the day before a Seahawks game are here yet. Hope they didn't forget.
