I got nuthin'

susandennisThis turned into kind of a nothing day. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I can handle. I had back to back snoozer conference calls. One woman droned on and on and on and on and I am sure there were nuggets of valuable info in there but they drowned in the sea of blah blah blah blah.
The living room redo is snailing along. I finally got the first invoice today for half of the cabinet. This should mean that really, truly, honestly, work has started. I hope so.
Swim class was different today. We had a substitute instructor and while he was not particularly enjoyable he sure worked our asses off. It's the first time in a long time that I looked at the clock during a class assuming we had about 5 minutes left and there were actually 25 minutes left. But, at least we sure did get our money's worth!
It's now 5 pm and still daylight out. Winter days are getting whittled away. I'm not opposed to daylight. I love that the first Spring Training game is in 29 days. I hate the idea of The Tree That I Hate blocking my view again. There are tiny buds on the sucker and I resent every one of them.
Tomorrow morning is my appointment with the nice doctor. I have a lot of questions for him and one of them is going to be about the jerk allergy doctor. I'm thinking I need a pulmonary doctor instead of an allergist.
This morning I woke up to two cats who would just not leave me alone. Turns out they were out of food. Most of today they have left me alone until now. 5 pm Dinner time. They have the most amazing internal clocks.
