There are so many many things wrong with Baked Cheetos. I mean on a deep emotional level. So many.

And in real life. They have no taste and they don't even make your fingers very orange.

So... To recap... The point of a Cheeto that has no taste and doesn't wear off on your fingers, is ....?????

The 50's sucked in many ways, but the food was sure good and any attempt at something like Baked Cheetos would have been rightly laughed out of town.

Why didn't they laugh at things like TV dinners back then?

oh TV dinners were VERY Cool!!! But also very expensive. We didn't have them at my house because of the expensive part. But, Babsie Page's Mom bought some for her older brothers. And they had TV tables, too, which were cool (and we didn't have any)... That was back when salt was a good thing. Ahhhhh the memories.

I actually like the Baked Cheetos. They're not regular Cheetos, admittedly, but I can eat them without feeling (as) horribly guilty.
