Before I collapse

This bunch filled the car to the gills and I delivered it all to Goodwill. I have now see the entire floor of the closets in the bedroom - all the way back into both ends... I'm very proud.

I think I have about half a car's worth more of Goodwill stuff and about 5 carts worth of trash and then I'll be done.

I honestly thought last week that I had maybe signed on for more than I was willing to do... But, this is good. I'm feeling very accomplished.

This morning when I was trying to catch up on LJ, Jake was literally in my way. His paw covered up the face of Baily who was pictured in ruralrob's journal. So I'm thinking "he's just asking for it". And, yes, he has now been submitted to The Infinate Cat Project. He really does look like he's staring down the cat just before him, doesn't he?

I have now officially blown my nose so much the inside is bleeding. Yuck! And I'm so tired of everything I put in my mouth having that 'you have a cold' taste. I'm getting ready to give up my very good but very expensive health insurance and I'm sure between that and doing all this work finally on the house, I'm going to get deathly ill and die very soon. I've always hated all this clutter and loved the idea that my sister was going to have to go through everything and figure out what to do with it after I die.

But, now that I really think about that part, I think my logic is flawed. My sister would have loved to have had most everything I took to the Goodwill and, probably, all of the photo albums, too. Ha!

Mom told me today that they have another celebrity living at 'the home'. General Westmoreland has been there for a while with his wife. But, now she reports, Alicia Rhett is living there. She was India Wilkes in Gone With the Wind. The only movie she ever made. Mom says "she's very pretty, if you like white hair."

Now I am going to reward myself. I'm going to get a Diet Dr. Pepper and put my feet up and watch CBS Sunday Morning.

Me too - the bleeding nose part. Tomorrow - tomorrow we'll feel better.

I'm actually glad to hear you say that... Sorry you are suffering but glad to hear that the nose bleed thing isn't an indication of my terminal illness. I've never had that happen before. I'm falling back on the 10 day theory. I had my first snifffle a week ago last Friday night. That makes Monday night the end. Who do I send the reminder to?
