I swore I was not going obsess about the furniture today - I was going to give it a rest for a bit. And I did for nearly 2 hours... And then I did a google search and up popped Manhattan Loft.Com (with a Utah address but whatever)... I'd never heard of it or seen it referenced anywhere and their beds are beautiful and with adjustable mattresses????

I think I might like this one best (replacing the denim with something better)

But this one is way way sexy... I might lose the TV table or swing it around on the side and use it for a night stand...

Ok, I'm done. I am going to work and I am not going to surf for furniture again until at least I finish this Requirements Doc that needs to be finished...

I like the bed but...you *do* realise you will never ever be able to shove things underneath it to tidy the bedroom up don't you?

Just be careful there - it says it's a European full, which is not the same size as an American full, so your existing sheets might not work, and it'll be a little harder to find sheets as well.

I have to admit I totally wrinkled my nose at the orange and boxy thickness of the first bed but I LOVE the sleek sexy lines of the second one - I'd definitely dump the TV stand or put two on either side as bedside tables but if it were me (which it's not so this is totally take it or leave it) I'd dump the TV stand - and rather than attach it as bedside tables - I'd actually have a pair of floating bedside table shelves on either side of the bed and a pair of pendant lamps hanging down from the ceiling leaving the bedside table clear for whatever else you want to put on it rather than filling it up with lampage - it'll go with the simple clean lines that the bed has - as will the fact that it's a floating shelf (ie it it comes right off the wall without any support or legs) - nothing to distract from the simplicity of it.

Since your space is small as it is - the best way to utilize the space you have and make it look bigger is by giving the illusion of having more by keeping it simple and sleek. The boxyness of the other bed I think would make the room look smaller - so unless you absolutely NEED the underbedstorage I'd maybe rethink that bed over one like this.

But again that's my opinion and you can totally ignore it :).
