Betty, my teeny tiny kitty, threw up dinner last night and breakfast this morning. She's too tiny to let this go on for too long. I'm pretty sure last night's issue was cheap cat food. Crap. I hate having a caviar cat. But she's getting on in age. So I need to go find some fancy food.
I think I'm going to head out to Capital Hill for brunch. There's a fancy pet food store and grocery nearby.
Today might be coming out day for the air conditioner. It's on wheels and lives in a closet on the terrace. The set up involves a pet door insert that I modified for venting outside and making sure all the bits work. It's not really hot enough yet... except at night. During the day, while it might be cool enough with just the door open, the building noise across the street sometimes gets too much and I have to close the door. Plus, they are still on sale now for a reasonable price (I saw them at Costco yesterday.) When it gets really hot the price goes up. IF mine - now about 5 or 6 years old - needs to be replaced, now is the time to do it, not when it gets really hot.
So, while it's early yet, I think I'll go ahead and set it up this afternoon.
After a few now, apparently aberrant wins, the Mariners are back to their sucky selves. But I watch them anyway. Hope springs eternal, I guess.
I do need to go to Penney's and swap out the pants I bought yesterday, but I may put that off until tomorrow. We'l see.
It's early but I think I'll get showered and dressed and head out anyway. I'll take Kindle in case I get stuck waiting for somewhere to open.
