Loooong day
Feb. 11th, 2005 07:23 pmI was minutes before breaking out of work when Stephen asked me to stay and get these two new web pages live tonight instead of Monday. So I did - more $ for the decorating coffers.
And, speaking of which... I sent Sheri the link to the Manhattan Lofts website and she got all jazzed about some of their pieces. We both love The Tommy.
I'm thinking that might be the bed. Really. If it is, then we have to do color choices
We are making progress.
Tomorrow is cup day. Sheri says I can keep 80 mugs, IF they are interesting looking. That's 4 a shelf on the wall above the sink. I think I can probably find enough interesting looking ones to fill the shelves. The rest go to the Goodwill. And I remembered a cubby hole of Tech books... Inside Trips for Windows 92 or whatever and other gems. Goodwill. That's tomorrow.
Oh and the blunch was fun. I was describing one of the funnier situations at work and Jim just laughs "this is your journal, just out loud!"

Date: 2005-02-12 06:37 am (UTC)but seriously ... a display for 80 mugs is a display with 80 things that need to be dusted. clearly you're not as lazy as i am!

Date: 2005-02-12 01:49 pm (UTC)I like that bed, too. Of all the ones you put out, I like this one the best so far. No storage though, maybe that is not a bad thing.

Date: 2005-02-12 05:06 pm (UTC)Hey, I'm sorry I couldn't chat more yesterday but I was in the middle of a big festuche.
I do hope you are going to get the 650. I'm ready to be so jealous! If I didn't have the 600 already OR if there was a decent trade in situation, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Date: 2005-02-12 05:22 pm (UTC)I'm so excited by your whole redecorating adventure. Mostly because you're not having to do a lot of the actual work - wait that's not true you've done tons of work clearing out old cruft and I don't want to minimize that. Plus I'm enjoying doing the stuff I'm doing at the house - it's just it'd be more fun if there was someone there even if they were just talking to me and not doing anything while I was doing stuff.
At any rate I'm loving following your progress.
I'll probably be getting the 650 at the end of the month when I'm allowed to do the upgrade with my sprint contract which gives me a $150 mail-in rebate. whoo hoo - bringing the price down nicely.

Date: 2005-02-12 07:57 pm (UTC)ah well.
Somewhere I know I've got some motivation stashed somewhere. But so far it's not here in the bedroom - but my bed is comfy and cozy with the two kitties keeping me company - but then I was up until about 2am working on little piddly stuff - which is cool at least I feel like I'm doing some work towards this move despite feeling like I have no motivation.
