Decorating Update!

Colors! We have colors! Sheri sent 5 different color pallets and I love every single one of them. They are not Put-Your-Sun-Glasses-On-And-Stand-Back crayon or neon colors or colors that have a pulse BUT they are lively and lovely and adult colors. I think it's time.

She also reports that she has big carpet samples of the ones we picked and she is tracking down closet planners and working on the designs for the shelves and cupboards we will build. Yahoo!

I agree, they are all very nice. My favorite is number one because of the blues...soothing but not boring at all.

Yep and I like 5 because of the red... So warm and fun.

But, you are right NONE of them are boring at all!!!

She did say, in her note, we can tweak. Mainly, I am just so happy with 5 beautiful ones to pick from. I could spend from now until forever and never come up with anything like that.

ha! See... I just knew 5 was special... It's going to be very hard to pick. When I am in a good restaurant and everything on the menu looks just too yummy for words, I have been known to tell the waiter to 'just surprise me'. I have never once been disappointed. I could do that with all these color combos, I think.

#1 is my favourite, but #2 is a little simpler (fewer colours) and probably better.

They are all neat, though 3/4 look a little muted/drab to me. I like 1 and 5 best - the purples in 1, the red in 5 (not so much the purple - not sure why). But, they are definitely all great, it is only by comparison that one or another looks better.

oH! I'm so glad I had a little update for your return home! Can't wait to hear the Vegas details and I think you are spot on with 1 and 5. I'm thinking we'll be seeing some more redecorating happenings this week.
