My CPA has a wonderful voice
Feb. 21st, 2005 08:43 amI called the outfit I found last Friday - Smith & Just. I got the impression from the woman who answered the phone that they don't get a lot of 'street traffic' but she soon hooked me up with Britt (I gather from the website that he is the Smith). Who was very kind and said he would be happy to talk to me and how about tomorrow at 4. Whew. And he has a great voice. The kind of voice that says 'don't worry! It will all be fine. You won't be homeless and you won't go to jail.' Just what I wanted to hear. Whew.
I sent off a 21 page fax to the finance guy's assistant to get cost basis for what the IRS wants for last year's return.
I'm feeling a little more under control.

If he does, in fact, tell you not to worry . . he knows whereof he speaks! When you have to bring in a "pro", you can't go wrong with one who's very familiar with the way the "enemy" thinks!
Sending good vibes your way, Susan . . it'll be just fine . . it's a karma thing and your karma is the good kind!
