Ok, I need dinner so no details until tomorrow or maybe not until I get the jpgs from Sheri but here are the headlines...

Furniture picked
Carpet picked - colors narrowed down to 2
Paint palette picked and bathroom color chosen
Shelves designed (wait until you see these)
Office/desk area designed
Remaining cups have a future
The nook is going to be wonderful
Everything is going to be wonderful

In other news, my favorite earphones (for Treo) quit working! On the up side, I ordered them from the manufacturer in December and their website says they are still under warranty and they have a 800 number. They'll get called tomorrow.

Mom is feeling better but mentally tired. She said tonight that she's thinking about turning all of her money matters over to me. "I do not feel qualified to play with big money any more." It's kind of sad but I think she's relieved that she has someone to do it for her if she wants. I probably would put it into a trust for income if she needs it. The good news is that I have people I trust that I can ask for advice if she does decide to have me take over. I'm so grateful that I can help and that she feels comfortable enough to ask.

Yeah! You will LOVE these shelves she has designed. My only complaint is that it is taking soooooooooooo long. She asked last night about timing - should we wait until we know everything - furniture delivery dates, etc. I said NO!!!! I was more than willing to sleep on a mattress on the floor and live out of boxes. Let's GET GOING! She laughed. She's good.

I love how you just gloss over the whole IRS caught me thing. But, thanks. I was thinking last night about who was going to take care of my money when I'm really old and feeble. Then I realized the answer... I shall just spend it all before then!
