Finished the web project and even got some other things done. All of the managers were offsite at a meeting. It's amazing how much I got done. Hmmm cause and effect?

One of my webhosts is down and has been for most of the day. It's the one that houses all my pictures and my webcams. Not that good. And, from what I can read in various support forums, this was a planned outage that they could have let us know about ahead of time. Oh well, you get what you pay for and this is a very cheap hosting service.

I'm ready for a three day weekend myself.

Me too! I am so ready for some downtime. In fact, I'm taking a 4-day weekend. With everything that has been going on, I decided to take a vacation day tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the place won't fall down without me. I'm heading down to Dragon Con in the morning. Don't know if you are familiar with cons, but in case you aren't, they are science fiction conventions. They are a big excuse for adults to act like children and spin 3 days dressed as someone/thing else. Somehow, I fit in.

You are so nice to ask! Today was pretty good. Not a craving all morning. But this afternoon was not as easy. I am beginning to think of myself as a non smoker and that's cool. Plus I truly can feel a difference at night. My lungs hurt last week - especially in certain sleeping positions and not they don't at all. That alone is enough to convince me.

The house no longer smells like smoke but I came in the day and I could really tell that the kitty litter needed tending to. Never, not once, ever smelled that before!

Now, this Dragon Con thing. You mentioned it several times I finally googled it up last night. It looks like TONS of fun. But I seriously love that graphic - I'm guessing it's the official con poster? The methusala (sp?) character with the blues and yellows and reds and greens? I snagged it for some computer wallpaper. It's wonderful.
