First of all kudos to [livejournal.com profile] nezbitthecat. He's solved one of my DooDoo problems - from now on, instead of being bummed by his winning yet another stupid point, I can now wallow in my new mantra "let the baby have his bottle!" That phrase has made me smile all morning.

The sun was out this morning and kept me from a walk. But, in the past 30 minutes, it's gone behind the clouds and it looks like it might stay there. I might just take a quick jaunt out yet.

Or I could get to work. I have some cupboards out on the terrace that need sorting through. One, particularly, is full of stuff that really does belong in the dumpster. After that one, then the cupboard behind me here at the desk, needs to be emptied. Half of it is files and I need to pare down those files by a third - the shredder is ready.

I have some charts and drawings to upload to the makeover project web pages.

And I have some new puzzles.

But, first... I'd better get to work. The first trolley full of trash is ready for a trip to the dumpster.

Hee! I like that phrase! (Don't the DD posts normally go friends-only tho? Though this one doesn't describe any happenings, obviously.)

Hehe. I just notice little finicky details, and anyway, I have the same habit - a lot of my stuff is FO. I thought it might be deliberate but I wanted to say something "just in case". It's a great tip! :)

You are a woman "cooking with gas" as the old folks around here used to say, on the sorting through and getting rid of excess junk as of late.

I am a sentimentalist at heart, but also realize the wonderful felling of streamlinig your life by getting rid of too many possessions. It also helps that I live in a tiny cabin, so it physically limits my shopping impulses as well.

Way to go Susan!
