$818.50 + I gave 'em each $10 which seems like not enough for a tip but they didn't seem like they expected a tip so maybe it was a nice surprise.

I am so filthy. And this house is so filthy. And I think I'm just going to ignore it for now, get into the shower, and then do some knitting and watching of TV and worry about the mess later. The computer works, the TV and TIVOs survived their power interruption. The rest can wait.

Right to the dump but on the second load while we were down by the truck, this guy walked by and asked if he could have one of the bookshelves! It's one of the few pieces they hadn't broken to bits. We were all delighted.

Yup, it is. They charge by the truckload - my stuff filled a truck and a half. AND weight - my stuff was mainly very heavy particle board. The moral of the story is... if you are going to accumulate shit, make it light weight shit.
