My brunch spot du jour does not open until 10. It's just after 8. I'm hungry. I may switch to plan B. But, the farmer's market - my stop after brunch doesn't open til 10 either so I might just chill and get there when I get there. It's not like I have a jammed schedule today.

My timer approach to rebooting the router is working splendidly. At least so far. Every 4 hours, my $20 timer turns the router off and then on again a minute later. I'm quite pleased with myself at the creativity of the solution. I'll deal with a real fix when I get back from Las Vegas.

I have all my stuff out and ready to slip into my backpack. It looks like my entire haul will leave a little less than half of the backpack empty. On one hand it makes me wonder what in the hell I am forgetting. On the other hand, I'm quite proud of the efficient me.

I need to check in - I'm waiting for the 24 hours to hit. I do want to tidy up the living room and the kitchen before I leave but otherwise, I am ready.

As long as whatever you are forgetting doesn't require a prescription, it can be picked up at the destination if needed, right?

Have a wonderful time - looking forward to the swag report! ;)

I love the $20 solution. Kinda reminds me of "hit here" which was the name for the TV my husband and his roommates shared in college. The name came from the fact that someone wrote the directive on a piece of paper and stuck to the side of the appliance, because whenever it malfunctioned, hitting it in that one spot would get it working again!

Hahahahaha! Good times, good times. Now, I look at our TV and think, shit, you couldn't do THAT with today's technology!

Kewl solution, the reboot timer. We do something like that here to automate our "does it survive x number of power cycles?" tests.
