The taxes are done. And it wasn't easy. Since I had two versions from the CPA, just sorting out that was a bit of a whistle. But it's done. The good version is in the envelope with the goods and a check.
I found the checkbook - that wasn't the hard part. Finding a stapler was very tricky. I know I must have packed 57 of them. But, one bubbled up and I stapled and put everything in the envelope. No clue as to how much postage so sometime in the next 4 weeks, I need to waddle down to the post office and get this puppied weighed and stamped.
Then, because I am a good doobie, I logged onto the EFTS thing and set up all my estimated payments. Now, my bank account will be automagically debited in April, June, September and January. The EFTS is such a government operation, it's so funny. Setting it up is much like giving yourself a root canal. Using it is a lot like giving yourself another one. But, it's done.
Then, for good measure, I set up an email reminder - 2 days before each withdrawal, I'll get an email reminding me that I'll soon be way poorer and to make sure the $$ is in the account.
I am a good citizen. George and Laura had better fucking send me a thank you note.
And, we have rain. Finally. I even got a little hail coming home from work. My Crocs with holes enabled my socks to get wet and I didn't mind a bit!
