One more vacation day

susandennisEven knowing I'd be back last night, I took the week as vacation and I'm glad I did. It's nice to have a day to just be.
All of the computers needed this month's security update which was not a simple one and each needed a reboot. The work one was particularly unhappy about the change but, now, they all seem to be reconciled and working again. And my auto reboot of the router every 4 hours is also still working.
My backpack is pretty much unpacked. It turned out that I took exactly the right amount of stuff. I forgot sunglasses and opera glasses but otherwise, I had just what I needed - no more, no less. I was pretty pleased with myself at my efficiency. Plus, it was a good amount to maneuver to and from.
I don't have much laundry to do but I could stand to toss in a load. I need to cut my fingernails, they are driving me nuts. And put away the rest of my stuff. But, that is all. The housecleaner came yesterday so even the house is rather much in order. Nice.
Yesterday from the LV airport, I signed onto the doctor's website and requested that 2 week follow up appointment. Last night there was a note offering me times. I picked one and just now got a confirmation. I think that for appointment making, it's easier to call but for everything else, this deal rocks.
I'll be soooo glad to get into the swimming pool! I plan to be there when they open at 11.
