I just heard on the news that Rochester, MN broke it's record today for the most snow in one day. I have snow envy. I lived there for 18 months. I moved there on October 21 and it was snowing that day. I was so happy. I moved in May as the snow was getting ready to melt. I loved every snow day - even those when it was 17 below zero.

The few times I have been in snow, I was not impressed. I don't like it, but since I never lived in it, I don't know how to manage it.

It's snow lovers heaven here my friend. Some places locally recieved 27inches of the white stuff. I can just imagine your huge smile if you were here!

Another year when it looks like I won't have time to see any decent amount of snow. I hoped there'd be some on the roads when I drove to Reno and there wasn't. Now it looks like I won't get a free weekend until June and by then it will be gone.

That's Hann by the way, we were the Hand family until about the 16th century when one of use, or the local priest, couldn't spell and we became the Hann family. It's a common mistake so there's lots of Hann families that have absolutely no relation to each other. Hahn, as on the puzzle page, would be the shortened form of Johanson (or so I'm told) and of German origin.

Now I'm going to do one of those puzzles :-)
