You can call me mellow
Mar. 25th, 2005 07:24 pmOn the day when my arm hurt the worst, someone posted a query for a massage therapist in the Seattle community.
rev_hank responded with a phone number and the info of a an office just a few blocks from here so I sent email. Today I had the massage. It was heaven. My back and neck and even my arm all feel wonderful. And I'm going back next Friday.
Before the massage, I stopped at the post office and mailed my taxes.
Before the post office, I stopped at the library and checked out some more books on CD to turn into MP3's to play on my Treo.
Before the library, I stopped at Sprint where they said there was nothing wrong with the phone that it must be the plug. Since I had experienced the same failure with three different plugs, I was skeptical. I said "ok, then sell me stereo earphones that will not present the failure." He did and said that if they fail in the next year, they will be replaced if I like or my money will be refunded.
Before the Sprint store, I was on the bus trying to listen to a David Sedaris CD on my portable CD player which, as it turns out, sucks. I got it for free and, it clearly, I got my money's worth. So... that's when I knew I had to get the Treo situation fixed.
Before that, I was at work. And now, we're pretty much caught up.
But, while I was writing this, I looked at the TV which is on mute because the news is over and following that is a local magazine show who's host makes my spine curl. I just looked up and there on this show is SHERI! My designer! With bangs and shorter hair! Thank god for Tivo. I just hit record. Oh wait, this must be old because she's doing a room that she showed me a magazine article about.
I gotta go watch.
