I can always tell when Travis is in full nap in another part of the house because Betty is all over me. Often she is nearby but generally not in my lap or on the computer because Travis is and he will chase her off. But when he's safely occupied, she's primo cat demanding my attention. Travis is currently under the quilt on the bed. Betty is all over me.

Work is caught up for the moment.

The laundry is laundrying.

As irrational as it sounds, I think those bogus k-cups from Amazon broke my coffee maker. It's only giving me 7-8 oz's when I hit the 10 oz button. I ran a buttload of vinegar through it today and cleaned out all the parts and still she's shorting me. I put in a call to Kerig to see what else I could do (having run through all their fix it steps) and they are sending me a new coffee maker. It's only 8 months old. It's predecessor only lasted 5 months. I do appreciate the replacement and how easy it was to obtain but a coffee maker that can't get passed the warranty can't be too good for business.

As soon as the dryer is done and the clean clothes are put away, I'm off to the Baby Corner with the bears and then to the pool. Montrel (my favorite teacher) stopped me yesterday and told me he had some ankle weights that he wanted me to try in my workout. Cool! I told him I'd be there earlyish today.

Sheri and the cabinet maker are coming by later so I want to get there, get worked out and get back. Plus work is liable to need me this afternoon.

Ooops work actually needs me now!

It's really odd...everyone I know who has a Keurig is on their second or third one (I think with one it's even 4th) and they're all replacements; I don't think any of them lasted a year. Maybe they're so pricey because you're really paying for 2-3 coffeemakers? It doesn't seem at all good for business and yet, everyone raves about them...until they break, but then they just send you a new one!

What bogus K-Cups did you get?

I haven't managed to mangle Mr. Coffee K-Cup yet, but I'll be honest and say that it got installed in position on the kitchen cabinet in August and used for several months. Then I got so dang busy that it kind of got buried on the counter. And with me, out of sight means out of mind.

Mr. Coffee K-Cup may see daylight very, very soon though. There are currently three diligent people in my apartment cleaning away. I am so looking forward to opening the door to at least a partially clean apartment at some point tonight -- Four and a half years of 'hey, wasn't this job supposed to be less hectic' turned into four and a half years of benign apartment neglect.
