Oh my achin'.....
Mar. 31st, 2005 12:12 pmMy arm is very sore - again... I love that I get tennis elbow while I sleep. I go to bed and my arm is hardly sore. I wake up and I can barely get my arm up high enough to brush my teeth without big time pain. I got to work and grabbed an ice pack and that helped. What doesn't help is non-stop, no breaks, mouse work. (I think the mouse is a little fractious about it, too.)
And now my ass - well actually my hips are sore from sitting in the same position working that freakin' mouse pretty much non stop from 6:30 to 11 this morning. If I were smart, I'd get up now and again and walk around the room or outside and around the block or something. Unfortunately, I signed up for looks and not brains. Sigh.
On the up side, I have a massage scheduled with
rev_hank tomorrow at 5. Whew.
She also reported that she dropped by a store called Storables - it's a small chain with stores in California and Washington - and found a great closet system that she says is both perfect for what I need and economical.
She's also going back to her guy to find out how we can get the closet nook, the hallway shelves and the kitchen mug shelves still done but for a whole lot less than his first quote. We shall see. But, I am so very encouraged at Sheri's new economical view of things.

Date: 2005-04-01 12:14 am (UTC)Well, I am a little mad at her for not being more economical in the first place. Also, where has she been? Anyone can find something more economical without giving up quality, it just takes a little imagination, and research. You do it all the time.

Date: 2005-04-01 04:21 am (UTC)I had this! do you know what causes it?
In my case I was sleeping with my arm bent as hard as it could go, all night every night - to the point where the tendon (or muscle?) was screaming by the time I woke up. Yep brushing my teeth was hard and I hated holding the steering wheel. I ended up driving one hand while I held my left hand straight down at my side.
I finally got rid of the problem by teaching myself/reminding myself during the night to straighten the arm while I slept. It took *weeks* for the pain to subside, but I finally have it beaten.
Good luck to you and your poor arm.
