First of all most all of the usual Monday work things worked and I was able to fix those that didn't and I got all caught up.
But the rest of the world is fighting me tooth and nail.
It started with internet speed as in, there wasn't much. So I rebooted the router. No joy. I rebooted the modem. Yeah!! Oh wait. I lost the wired network on this side of the room. The extender was no longer extending.
I went to check the router settings to see if it was seeing it and I have, apparently, totally forgotten my router password. I'm fairly sure I did not even change it but the default no longer works either. PHUCK.
Then I had to pee. When I finished, I leaned over to flush and my phone fell out of my pocket - no, not into the toilet, thankyoujesus. But, when I leaned down to pick it up, the mirror fell off the wall. This is a giant big assed really really heavy mirror.
Fortunately, it did not break the mirror part. A piece fell off the frame and it chewed a chunk out of the floorboards. Sheri hung that sucker up 6 years ago. I'll betcha it's a result of the pile driving.

Sheri says she'll get it fixed but spooky!
Nothing I could do would get the extender back - I no longer have the box or the software that came with it. I wrote to Amazon and asked them if they would take it back. Yep, of course they would, here's prepaid shipping label.
The printer would not print. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I tried wireless and wired. Nothing would work.
I went swimming. One of the earbuds on my player wouldn't work. I switched to the backup player and actually had a very good and enjoyable workout.
Back home. Rebooted the computer and the fucking printer printed.
Then I had a thought about the extendeder. I laid on the reset button for 10 seconds or so, plugged it into the wall and boom the install software found it and now it's working again.
I checked the mp3 player earbud and it's working now, too.
So, now I'm left with the inability to get into my router. I'm kind of stumped. I'm guessing I can factory reset but I would really like to not have to do that. If I do have to do that, I wonder if it's worth trying to hold off until the new furniture arrives and everything gets in it's forever home (and risk a major bruhahaha between now and then at a possibly very inconvenient time) OR should I go ahead and try it now...
GRRRR. I think I probably will maybe hold off and at least not do it today. Maybe tomorrow.
I need something for lunch now.
