Thank you, Cisco, for making password recovery nearly painless. Once I bothered to read the manual it was a snap. Really, thanks. The username and password is not taped to the router, the switch and the extender.

ok that's funny.... maybe even funnier than you realize...

i could fix it the way i intended, of course, as 'now'.

but, i could also fix it as

'to all who want to warn me about system hackers, please note that my username and password is NOT taped...'

that might have eliminated the two comments I got (and erased) warning me about the dangers. they, apparently, were so intent on their preaching that they missed the typo all together!!
