Crap on a giant pogo stick. No swimming of any kind for 3 weeks after cataract surgery. That bites the gynormous big one.

Just to help you put it in perspective, a friend of ours had a detached retina reattached. They then inject a bubble of nitrous oxide into the eye. The patient must lie face down for two weeks, while the surgery heals, for twenty-three hours a day. The position is required to keep the bubble of gas pressed up against the retina while the healing takes place.

I would shoot myself before very long. O.O

I know. I am not a runner, although I was thirty years ago. I am not the fittest person in my world, not by a long shot, but my idea of hell would be not being able to move.
