Apr. 4th, 2005 12:14 pmI'm waiting for a decision at work before I hit the next batch of web pages so I thought I'd collect my LJ self.
The tracking numbers for my three pieces of furniture say that they will show on Friday as well. And the last I heard from the litter box/chest people is that it should arrive on Friday, too. Friday is going to be big at SDHQ.... maybe.
Problem is, I am really clueless about my agency. The people I bought my original policies from sold out long ago to some guy who sold out to some other guy. I've stayed with them because, well, why not? The insurance company is good and every time I've price checked my stuff, they always come in close or lower. So, I just keep paying and, thankfully, have not been otherwise involved. Now I'd like to get a little assist.
The agency has no website so I had to call. The woman who answered the phone sounded for all the world like someone's grandmother who had given up her bridge this afternoon to catch calls. Once she found her pencil to take a message, she got Dennis down but really struggled with Susan. She wanted to know if the phone number I gave her was business or home. I was dying to say 'pocket' but stuck with cell. I felt like I should be talking on a rotary phone.
Erica is supposed to call me back. I'm not hopeful.
Carry on.
