Waiting... waiting....

I have an xml file coming back from QA (the really nice QA guy just gave me the heads up via IM) so I'm waiting... I could leave it until tomorrow but I'd love to get it fixed and back to QA tonight. It's for a publish at midnight Sunday so the runway is only tomorrow and it would be really nice of me to give them the whole day.

So I wait.

OnTrac delivered one package today but not the other. Their website says the 2nd one is out for delivery but I learned long ago that means nada coming from them.

Scott the building manager gave me the phone number of a guy to call. Scott said that the guy would handle the removal of the rest of the stuff - maybe even tomorrow. I called. Got voice mail. Left message. Heard nothing yet.

Not a whole lot else happening... the cats are reminding me that this is when they often eat dinner and wouldn't it be nice if that happened today? Like NOW!! ok. While I wait, I can feed, I guess.

I used them years ago and they were ok but they really must have done something horrible to someone here because they are one of only 3 vendors on the NOT RECOMMENDED list here at the condo and Scott told me twice they were not at all good to deal with and since I need his help if only to put padding in the elevators, I'm not risking it. Plus they are really expensive (compared to others).

Interesting. We were extremely impressed. I guess whomever owns the local franchise could totally make or break it for that city. It's a shame.
