Finally. Hilariously, it turned out the hutch was not a single piece! It was a top piece just sitting on a bottom piece. Had Amira planned and investigated and then provided herself enough time, she would have figured out that the desk (the part she got) was the hardest part. The rest was just picking up and moving.
These guys, however, were way way way more careful and mindful of wall corners and floors and not breaking anything or chipping any tile. Way more careful so it's probably just as well. But now it's gone.
I found a screw from my desktop computer... I cannot find one single hole that has a screw missing.
Neighbor Ann was just here and she kept looking at the room and saying 'it looks so BIG!!!'
I am so glad to have it finally out of here.
I think I'm going to go get a small plate dinner at Wild Ginger which is next door to the symphony hall. It's a pricey place that I used to love but the last couple of times I've eaten there it was underwhelming. It's been a long time since the last time and it is very handy so I'm going to try again.
Tomorrow morning after swimming, I'm giving serious thought to driving down to the fairgrounds and going to http://www.sewexpo.com/. It's about an hours drive from the pool. I think I'll make a snap decision when I finish swim class.
I have a bit more work work to do tonight and some cat feeding and then I'll get changed and hit the pavement.
