For some reason, I am the Queen of Crabby today. It doesn't help that everyone is working diligently to piss me off but still. I know, in my crusty little heart that there is precious little they could do today that would not piss me off.

And to add to my general feeling of generosity of spirit fuck you and the horse you rode in on, a local soccer team - and one that clearly gathers more for the camaraderie than for the soccer - has kindly added me to their mailing list. While this clearly brainless tight knit group has grasp the concept of swapping mindless emails, they cannot seem to figure out how to delete a name when they hit reply... Initially, I sent a reply to the person who sent the note. She sent back a note to me apologizing and saying she had informed their team leader. And then she promptly sent out another silly note to the group kindly including me. Today, everyone has chimed into the idiotic reparté. I sent instructions to the entire group. I'm about 1 email away from adding the entire bunch to my blacklist.

The feds have not come for their money yet. And it's beginning to make me a little crazed.

And the Mariners fucked up their winning streak last night. They were brilliant through 4 innings and then, in case we forgot, they played like last year for the back 5. GRRRRRRRRR

I need a happy pill.

That's actually how we've won three division titles in a row,by not alternating wins and losses and sometimes even winning several in a row.

I have to work late today so I will have the game on in my office.

One thing I do envy you is an outdoor stadium. I grew up going to Wrigley Field. The Metrodome doesn't have a lot going for it.

THE coldest I ever got at a baseball game was at the Metrodome - in July. I finally went up and bought the biggest sweatshirt I could find and curled up into it. I still have that sucker. (And, yeah, I was a Twins fan for the summer I lived in Rochester.)

But, it is still our turn today. Thanks anyway.

Not necessarily a happy pill, but if you TiVo'd West Wing last night (NOW it's last night, I just haven't been to bed yet) my husband says I was on!
Toward the end, during the Santos speech. I'm in a blue denim dress and red bandanna (with my glasses on) criscrossed with Santos buttons and holding a Santos sign. Hubby says it was between :48 and :53 into the show, counting commercials. Here I was going, "I should tell Susan! But what excuse?" So now you can get REALLY into West Wing to take your mind off everything f.ed up that happened yesterday :D
But maybe it was just "f. things up" day, because I lost my keys at 3am and had to wait an hour to get rescued.
