Ta Da!! Success!!

susandennisIt's 8:30 am and I have been to the doctor and even stopped at McDonald's for a celebratory sausage biscuit, got caught by a train and had to wait for.ev.er and now I'm home ready to start my day!
The cute doctor does not want to see me for 3 months!! It's not the 6 I was hoping for but he pointed out that I skated by my annual checkup so I owe him an extra one anyway. He was delighted at my progress and did not even mention Dr. Asshat. Yahoo! He says my lungs sound beautiful.
He told me to stop taking my cholesterol pill for two weeks to see if that eases up the hand and foot muscle cramps. If they go away, he'll switch to a different pill. I told him I'd been mainlining bananas in hopes that would help. He said that was only good if my potassium level was low which it isn't. I really am getting sick of bananas so this was great news.
And he's totally cool with the cataract surgery. I explained about the deductible and he allowed as how doing it this year sounded like a great idea and that 'you should really be able to call the shots on when with a cataract'. Nice.
All good. 3 months. Until last October, I saw him once a year maybe. Now everyone in his office knows me on sight. It will be nice to get back to 'who are you again???'
Today I'll call the other cataract surgeon's office and get their cataract story and then decide who gets the first appointment.
