But first... the pool
Mar. 10th, 2012 07:12 amFor a while now I've been traveling up to the Meadowbrook Pool on Saturday mornings. It's the only water exercise class in deep water on Saturday mornings. The pool is not close to here - it's about 10 miles away and with no traffic I can get there in about 15-20 minutes.
This week I found out that my own pool's shallow water class on Saturday morning is, apparently, different than the weekday versions. Weekdays are generally tailored to really old, really large people who can't move much. The Saturday class is, apparently, far more rigorous. This pool is about 2 miles and less than 10 minutes from here.
It's tempting to at least try the closer class but the Meadowbrook class is just too good to give up. Maybe one Saturday when I'm really crunched for time...
Today after class my plans are to try a new breakfast place.
And then home for a bit. I have work work that popped up last night. I need to get it done before Monday so I figure I'll get good start on it and maybe get it done entirely.
Later this afternoon, I'm meeting
machupicchu downtown for a movie and then we'll go find some dinner. We have tickets, after that, to see Paula Poundstone. Should be quite fun.
Probably tomorrow I'll spend some time and energy clearing stuff out of the living room in preparation for the week o' work going on in there. I don't have to empty it but right now it's got all the stuff I took out of and off of the desk and hutch stacked up around. I think I'll try to get most if not all of it moved to the bedroom and fish room and out of the way.
But, this all starts with the pool so now I'm suiting up and heading out!
