susandennisSwim class was great this morning. I really like that class. It was cold and windy and raining like a sumbitch on the way and, at 8 am on a Saturday morning, there was this huge backup from the north and south going into the exit for the north part of downtown. It went on for miles both ways. Kind of made me wonder if I had missed a memo.
After swimming, I found a fun new place for breakfast and then went on to Fred Meyers. I had 6 things on my list. I found 3 of them. Then I stopped by Staples and bought an router extender/switch for the bedroom and then home.
The furniture store called about my table problem. A very nice guy said he would just come out and swap out my scratched table top with an unscratched new one. But, sadly, it looks like that might not happen until June. Oh well. It's not a terribly obvious issue so the delay is not horrible. I'm just glad they aren't giving any hassle at all about it.
I continue to love my new internet radio. I just found an android app for it. I am sitting in the living room and from right here I can do nearly everything I could do if I were standing it next to it. Wild. I can turn the volume up and here it in here perfectly. But, I may have to get one for the living room since it's way too loud to play when my neighbors are there. My current living room radio isn't nearly as nice sounding, has a remote that is very hard to use, the radio itself isn't as nice looking and it is 3 times bigger. I think the Goodwill needs it.
I have to go out again in a bit but for now, I think I'm going to empty the dishwasher, tidy up the kitchen, finish putting away the clothes from yesterday's laundry and chill a bit before I head out.

Date: 2012-03-18 03:58 am (UTC)But I can't get media server to recognize either one. IP's are fine and good on both (server and radios), firewall has everything for the server wide open and no joy.
I do love how they sync'd up... favorites from the bedroom are magically in the living room.
I'll probably give Logictech a ringie tomorrow to see what the deal is.
