Whew... free to cool

susandennisI managed to get all caught up with work early! So I rolled out the A/C which, true to history, bruised my big toe (already bruised this year so it will soon be technicolor). I got it out and plugged it in and turned it on.
I turned the new lights up all the way. I turned them off. I turned them on. I waited 10 mins while the A/C ran at top speed and then turned the lights off again and back on and everything worked fine.
I'm perfectly fine with no vacuum. I have a great cordless job that really works well. I'll get Amira to use that instead.
I do hope this is not just a temporary high... I really really really don't want to get to the 90 degree day and have no A/C. That would be the very definition of ugly. It really would.
Now I think I'll pop off to the Goodwill. I have a car full. Oh and I need gas.
