It's such a nice, cool day. The sun is out but it is still very comfortable and not too hot.
I painted the door today. I have a bi-fold door hiding the stacked washer and dryer. Years ago I tried to pull the suckers out fo the little closet (I think to get to the hose, but I can't remember now) and I dinged up the door so you could see through the paint to the wood in spots. Now it is all fixed. I thought the color was too white and the paint job too crappy but once it dried and I turned regular (kind of dimmed) lights on that I usually use in that room it looks great. Job well done.
I was going through some old magazines last night and found a Knitters that I hadn't read closely. I read it closely and found a sweater that looked interesting to knit. I dug up some yarn that would work and gave it a start. Now, I already have the next socks started. And I have a afghan for Mom that I started eons ago and had to abandon when it got hot. I have about a week's worth of work left there. And I haven't taken any prizes for bingo night at the AIDS hospice in ages. The last few pairs of sox will go there but that's not much of an offering. With all this looming I start another sweater? In the online knitting world the socks and the afghan are called UFOs or UnFinished Objects.
But, heck, it's not like anyone has a gun to my head or the world as we know it will end if I break a knitting rule. This must be what they mean by living on the edge...
