no webcam action today

susandennisI just checked the webcams to see if there was any action yet and discovered that they are still showing the pictures from 5:50 this morning. Then I remembered that the last thing I did before I left the house was pull the DSL modem up onto the counter from where it looked like it was getting ready to fall off. I must have giggled the connection loose when I did that because it appears as if they whole thing is off line.
Sigh.
I am losing some enthusiasm for home upheaval. I come home every day and spend 5 minutes gazing at the beautiful work done and then the next 4 hours moving the shit around to get ready for tomorrow's work or to find something that I need now or to clear a space for the precious 30 minutes I get to sit down and watch the Jeopardy tournament.
Last night I had to sit so close to the TV that the remote would barely work. Finding clothes to wear to work is getting increasingly difficult and I have no clue where... xxx is and xxx is a list about a mile long.
My shins and hips and arms are bruised and cut from bumping into stuff trying to walk around the piles in the middle of the rooms. And last night, I re-hurt my hurt arm. Yeah, I'm ready to get this done.
On the bright side, Dinah originally said it would take 2 and a half weeks for her to finish the job. Now she is saying she might be done by the middle of next week. Sheri is bringing the carpet guy over Monday to get him ready to bring the new carpet as soon as Dinah is finished.
Once the carpet is in, she promises the closets will get done. Once the closets get done, I will finally have a place to put a whole lotta this shit that I am now tripping over.
Everyone - me, Dinah, Sunshine and Sheri are all jazzed about the mural. We've settled on saltwater aquarium with an oval window like a porthole kind of thing. Hey, I just googled for a pic and this turned up on the first page!

It won't be long now, and you will open the door and it will just make you smile to be home.
