I have on lime green shoes, turquoise pants and raspberry socks. When I look down, it makes me happy. (The shoes are Croc wannabes and, so far, not nearly as comfortable but then Crocs don't come in lime and their non-hole style comes in the most boring colors and it's raining so it's a non-hole day.)

I'm still bummed about my hard drive failure. I need to spend some quality time with my digital storage options this weekend and make sure that what is truly non-replaceable is safely tucked away in redundant situations.

Tonight I have a massage with rev_hank at 5 and I'm hoping that I can get out of here in time to get home, get into the car and shoot up north to the giant Target store in time to get back home by 4:55. I sent Sheri there to check out a media storage unit. She said that it looked ok but that it was wobbly and not made too well BUT she did see some excellent storage ottoman options that she said were very attractive, would fit right in, offer storage and seemed very sturdy.

Plus I want to look at small TV's there and at the Best Buy next door. I think that the bedroom TV needs replacing. I did get the new TiVo hooked up and onto the network. I honestly think that once you show it that you are going to make it happen come hell or high water, it just knows not to fuck with you any more. It took me months to get the living room one onto the network. I did the same exact thing with the bedroom one and it hooked in first time.

We're launching the newly converted site early next week at work. So yesterday, today and probably Monday I am checking links. This is possibly one of THE most boring bits ever. I have a program that goes in and checks each age for valid links, alt text for images and a couple of other things. You can only do one page at a time. Wait while it checks - generally 60-90 seconds - look for problems, fix or not, move to the next page. I feel like Rosie the Riveter. But it is kind of fun to see how much other stuff you can do in those 60-90 seconds.

Like take a picture of what you see when you look down today...

You mean all fat and swollen? Isn't that the pits? Are yours the same size? I mean do they at least match? One of mine is always bigger than the other and it's not even always the same one!

I was born with thick ankles. I have leg all the way down to my foot. And, to make matters worse, I have a predisposition to accumulate FAT in my ankles! I've actually considered liposuction in my ankles.

Ahhh. See, I used to have beautiful ankles - very slim and slinder and nice looking legs too. Now I have fat everything because I eat too much and rarely move. But I'm pretty sure the swollen ankles are the result of some fatal condition that is a ticking time bomb... But. Whatever.
