Death by Cat
Sep. 10th, 2002 04:23 pmBetty's one of those cats who things the best place to be is just in front of one or both of my feet. If I get up to move, she's there at my ankles where she stays just ahead of my moving feet. I have already tripped over her once even though I was paying close attention. One of these days I'm not going to be paying attention and it's going to be the beginning of the end.
It will probably be a Friday night. It's likely no one will think to worry much before Monday morning. I'm going to tirp over her, fall, break something or several somethings and just lie there until I die. When you hear about it listen carefully, I'll bet you can hear me saying "I told you so!"

911: Paramedics are on their way maam. Try to stay calm.
911: Try to stay calm maam. Where is the accident?
911: Maam, we need to know where the accident is so we can send help.
911: Yes, maam. We have had a surge of accidents-on-cam and now have installed IP-GPS-Tracking. It's the latest thing.
911: Ah. yes.
911: Yes?
911: But of course.
